It seems Indian cricket team skipper Virat Kohli has finally watched wife Anushka Sharma's latest film Zero and is all praise for the movie as well as Anushka's performance in it.
Released last Friday, the much-awaited movie opened to a lukewarm response. Directed by Aanand L Rai, Zero has Shah Rukh playing the role of a vertically challenged man, named Bauaa Singh. While Katrina plays a popular actress battling alcoholism and Anushka essays the role of a wheelchair-bound scientist.
Taking to Twitter after watching the movie, Virat wrote: "Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding."
What awaited Kohli was the wrath of the Twitterati, who called him a 'liar' and blamed his tweet calling it 'husband duties'.
