The actor’s donated the salary he received to reshoot All the Money in the World after reports stated that Wahlberg’s co-star Michelle Williams was only paid a per diem of $1000 a day, lesser than William’s wage. The reshoots were a necessity when Kevin Spacey was replaced by Christopher Plummer. The difference in salary highlighted the gender that still prevails in Hollywood.

The cast of All the Money in the World reshot multiple scenes after the director cut Kevin Space from the film, after his sexual allegations. Reports stated that the whole cast did the reshoot for free except Plummer.

The mystery/ crime film follows the kidnapping of a 16-year-old John Paul Getty III and the desperate attempt of his mother to save her son. She tries to convince his grandfather to pay the ransom and when he refuses, the captors become volatile and brutal. Their advisor helps them out in the race of time. The story that reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.

Mark who supports for fair pay donated the salary to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund in Michelle William’s name. But his plan to donate his reshoot fee is just the bare minimum since his bad press.
