Bruno Mars bags three NAACP Image Awards 

The early winners at the 49th NAACP Image Awards were announced and Bruno Mars won three Awards

The NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) celebrates the accomplishments of people of colour in the fields of television, music, literature, and film. In addition, the show honours individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavours. For this year's show, Black-ish star Anthony Anderson returned as host where he helped lead a night of performances from Common and Andra Day.

Bruno Mars wins three NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Male Artist, Outstanding Music Video Album, and Outstanding Song.
