In a recent interview with a leading magazine, Kangana Ranaut got candid on how she was subjected to physical violence at a very young age. She added that it was nothing but her strength and courage that has made her the woman she is today.

About her experience, Kangana reportedly said, "Everything I have been through has made me the person I am today. But when I was very young, a minor, I was subjected to physical violence and exploitation. That shouldn't have happened. But when I look back, I feel that the person I am today is the result of the strength, wisdom, and kind of understanding of myself and my character, which was brought about at a young age being subjected to such extreme circumstances."

"It is the result of extreme pain and humiliation that I had to go through. I think if I had to exchange that with someone else, I would rather have that experience. I wouldn't want anyone to go through physical abuse," Kangana added.

On the work front, Kangana is currently in London shooting for Mental Hai Kya, a psychological thriller directed by Prakash Kovelamudi. Kangana is also gearing up for the release of Rani Laxmibai's biopic titled Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi
