Hollywood actress Jessica Alba is the latest to speak out about sexual harassment in the film industry and the actor has said it is important for her daughters to know about it. Jessica said that she has been in many situations and she had to learn quickly to get out of them in time so that it never got worse.
According to a media report, the actor who is popular for her roles as Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four series is a mother to three children - two daughters and a son, said that she wants to tell her girls to teach them how to defend themselves. Jessica went on to add that she wants them to know that they have control over their bodies and over situations they want to get themselves in. The 37-year-old actress also said that she wants to tell them that there are warning signs and a feeling in your stomach where you know it is wrong and you have to listen to it. However, she said it is going to be different talking to her son about it.
The actress who is also an author and social entrepreneur said that she finds it vital to teach her children to have respect for themselves. She also went on to say that while there isn’t a big change yet, there are many more women directing, writing and even producing movies than before, and that is good for gender equality.
