Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been the talk of the town ever since the former revealed the pair were actually dating, silencing all rumours. While Pooja Bhatt earlier said she does not interfere in Alia’s life, father Mahesh Bhatt has finally spoken after photos of him talking to Ranbir Kapoor surfaced on the internet, getting fans excited about the whole idea.

In a recent interview with a leading publication, Bollywood director Mahesh Bhatt said that since the pictures are already out because of people clicking pictures like the paparazzi, there is not much he can say. However, he said, he would not say much and would let the paparazzi make their decision if he approves of the relationship or not. The director also went on to say that he is not one of the parents who advises his children about their personal choices. And, the way Alia and Ranbir are freely telling everybody about it, he does not feel the need to tell her anything.

Interestingly, Mahesh also went on to add that Alia is unlike him and his elder daughter Pooja, who are outspoken and have lived their lives in the public eye. She likes to keep her private life private and why she chooses to speak or not, is her decision to make. Bhatt even praised Ranbir for his performance in Sanju and said that is only the second movie after Amitabh Bachchan’s Deewar, where he has seen an actor take charge of the character.
