My character in Sacred Games is not inspired by Katrina Kaif: Elnaaz Norouzi shuts down rumours
Netflix web series Sacred Games has shot to instant fame and while the actors are still getting used to the success for their brilliant performances, they are already involved in controversies. Elnaaz Norouzi who plays Zoya Mirza has received a lot of praise for her role but the Iranian actor has been under the scanner for portraying Katrina Kaif showing references to her relationship with Salman Khan.
According to a recent interview with a leading publication, Elnaaz said that when she read the script she did not think of the role as a reference to Katrina Kaif at all. She also went on to add that the writers of the web series or the author of the book definitely did not have any particular actor or relationship in mind while taking it down. Elnaaz went on to add that even when she was playing the character, she did not think of Katrina in the role, and instead was focusing on getting her Hindi right and her role perfectly.
However, Elnaaz also went on to say that if viewers are saying it is based on Katrina Kaif, there is always a chance that the films have references to actors and it may also have Aishwarya Rai, among other things.
