After coming up with Swadeshi Samariddhi SIM cards and Kimbho messaging app, Patanjali is set to launch its clothing brand Paridhan at the end of this year. However, Acharya Balkrishna who is the co-founder and managing director of the FMCG brand has interestingly said that the jeans will be "Indianised" in nature and that they will comply with Indian cultural norms.

According to reports, the 44-year-old who figured in Forbes list of World's Billionaires in 2017, said that the jeans meant for women will be loose and that Indian families will find the concept of Swadeshi jeans very comfortable. He went on to say that the jeans that people wear these days are manufactured abroad by western companies and that they do not suit the Indian culture.

Interestingly, Paridhan will not only have jeans but will also include around 3000 products that would be available in 100 exclusive stores across the country. The products will include clothing for kids, yoga enthusiasts, athletes among others.
