Anushka Sharma scolds man for littering street, Virat Kohli shares video
A lot of people litter the roads every single day, and because nobody gives it a second thought to tell them they are wrong, it continues to happen. However, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma decided to take matters into her own hands and scolded a man for throwing garbage on the road and in an attempt to inform more people, Virat Kohli shared the video, and it has now gone viral.
According to several media reports, the video which has now gone viral shows Anushka telling the man to please be careful because you can’t just throw plastic around on the streets. Reports state that Anushka was travelling in her car when the man in question, pulled up next to her in traffic and threw a wrapper out of the window. While it would have usually gone unnoticed, he did not expect the 30-year-old actress to pull down her window to tell him what he did was wrong. While most people expect to have good interactions with actors, this man seems to have had the most unfortunate meeting with Anushka Sharma.
The actress was immediately supported by her husband and India cricket captain Virat Kohli, who shared the video on Instagram and Twitter. The 29-year-old cricketer captioned the video saying, "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same and spread awareness." While he has been applauded, Virat was also criticised but he gave a fitting reply saying that saying that a lot of people who don't have the courage to do something like this find it funny and everything for people nowadays is meme content and it's a shame.
Arhhan Singh, the man who was scolded by Anushka has now responded saying that while he is apologetic for his actions, Anushka should have some etiquette and could have been a little more polite.
Interestingly, Anushka Sharma, in 2017, was named as the face of PM Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan which is to keep the streets clean and roads and for the infrastructural development of the country. Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar was one among others to retweet the video complimenting the actor for her action on the road.
