Former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri is known for his explosive batting but he is also known for his role as a commentator, but on Tuesday he revealed a lot more since he started playing cricket. The cricketer spoke about how he loves drinking beer and it is only juice, but only a different kind.

According to the video that has now gone viral, Ravi who appeared on Breakfast of Champions with television anchor Gaurav Kapur spoke about the difference between the 1983 World Cup and the 2011 World Cup. However, he spoke about how he likes to play hard and party even harder. He went on to reveal that during his U-19 days playing for India he was caught and the warden wanted to report him. However, sharing the funny incident, Ravi told the warden that he could take the beer but only after it was finished by him, because the label was any way on the bottle.

Interestingly, Ravi Shastri revealed that when he was summoned, he did not care and went on to tell them that he drinks beer with his father, the man he respects the most in the world. He said that if a cricketer is judged, he shouldn’t be for the number of beers he has drunk but for the performance on the field. If the performance is affected, he would have very well taken responsibility for it.
