Harshvardhan Kapoor revealed the first trailer of his upcoming movie Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. The actor is the son of Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and he will be making his debut with the movie in which he plays a superhero, but without superpowers, like we usually see.
The film is said to be inspired from the 2010 superhero satire movie Kick-Ass and the opening scene where friends are discussing superhero is proof. Several other scenes like trying to use a very basic avatar of a superhero to fight wrong-doers but fails at doing it after a point show the similarity. Interestingly, it is the death of a loved one that makes his go ahead and is the superhero that he has only spoken about till date and at the least imitated them but not been successful.
The movie has been directed by Vikramditya Motwane and involves politics, with crime and superheroes at its simplest best. The movie will also see Nishikant Kamat, Radhika Apte and Priyanshu Painyuli in main roles.
