Television producer Ekta Kapoor lashes out at Swedish Youtuber PewDiePie for mocking her show

Popular television show producer Ekta Kapoor thrashed a Swedish Youtuber for mocking her television show. The Youtuber called PewDiePie took a dig at the title track of her hit television show Kasamh Se with a funny video description that made the producer furious but people from all over are reacting and have called her racist and they are not too happy with her reaction. 

The television show producer hit out at PewDiePie after he shared a screenshot of the original soundtrack of the show with a caption ‘Kasamh Se original title track (good quality)’ when the quality was actually really poor. Ekta took to Twitter asking him who he was and went on to tell him that he looks like a junior artiste they hire from Colaba in Mumbai for her shows. 

Many users on Twitter went on to say that the producer does not get that PewDiePie's comment is pure sarcasm and she in fact embarassed herself by tweeting about it. But Ekta Kapoor did not back down and said that his criticism of content on Indian television is sheer 'ignorance'. Interestingly, after she learnt  who he was, she again tweeted saying that she has checked his account and he has thrashed everything from Indian soaps to Indian superstars like Rajinikanth's Robot among others. 

Ekta Kapoor’s show Kasamh Se which has gone off-air now first appeared on television in 2006 and aired until 2009, starring Prachi Desai and Ram Kapoor in the lead roles. The producer shot to fame with her shows Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay among others.
