Filmmaker Karan Johar has always remained silent about his relationship status and while there have been many rumours, a recent post may have just confirmed his relationship status. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra shared a post of the two of them on Instagram wishing him for his birthday and he has gone on to even like a comment asking if they were a couple leaving fans confused, according to sources.
According to an entertainment website, Dharma Productions’ Karan Johar recently celebrated his 46th birthday and while he invited all the bigwigs from the film industry, it was Manish Malhotra’s post that has stood out the most. Manish in his post, said “Happy happy birthday my dearest bestest friend @karanjohar have a wonderful year ahead! 25 years of friendship and working together..and many more years to come and may you keep making the most wonderful films and keep being the spirited person that you are.”
While many users said both of them look adorable together, one couple said, "You guys are the cutest couple" and Manish didn’t hesitate to immediately like the comment. Other users even said they should probably think of getting married because they look like a couple. However, neither Manish nor Karan have confirmed their relationship with each other apart from being best friends.
Interestingly, Karan Johar threw a huge party for Manish Malhotra last year on his 50th birthday and all friends close to them were invited for the occasion from the film and the fashion industry.
