Here's what Farah Khan gifted Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh before they left for Italy
Newly-wed couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh received a very special wedding gift from director Farah Khan. According to reports, the director asked her friend Bhavna Jasra to make a clay casting of Deepika and Ranveer’s hands clasped together to gift the star couple.
Reportedly, when Ranveer and Deepika dropped in at Farah Khan’s residence before leaving for Italy for their wedding, Farah had called Bhavna over and hid her in another room. The Om Shanthi Om director then revealed to Ranveer and Deepika about what she had in mind and both of them were excited to make the cast happen.
“They greeted me with happy smiles and on knowing what the surprise was, they gleamed with joy. Directing the couple on how they should put their hands together to make a tight clasp was a special moment. I felt as if time stood still when Deepveer posed for pictures with their hands clasped tightly in my clay. Thank you, Farah, for making me a part of Deepveer’s love,” Bhavna Jasra shared on Instagram along with a picture of her with the couple.
