Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has said that he will be paying off the debts of 850 farmers in Uttar Pradesh so that they can continue their farming without an issue and to further help their cause and prevent them from committing suicide. Amitabh recently posted about the farmers on his blog and said that a bank will take care of the execution for him, as he pays Rs 5.5 crore for them all.

Interestingly, this is not the first time Big B has helped people in need because recently he also identified 44 families whose sons have lost their lives for the country. The 44 families include 112 entities and the Pink actor said he was only trying to do his part to help from Maharashtra but a lot more needs to be done from other parts of the country and said it was one of the most satisfying experiences in his life. However, Amitabh said he will continue to contribute for Kaun Banega Crorepati Karmveer Ajeet Singh's cause to protect girls from the prostitution racket and Sarbani Das Roy, who has taken up the cause to look after mentally ill patients.

On the film front, Amitabh Bachchan is busy working on Brahmastra with Bollywood's hottest couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, which is being directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film is set to release in 2019 and the actors have been posting various pictures from their script reading sessions to film shoots in New York too.
