Chris Hemsworth catches US hitchhiker by surprise in Australia, drops him off in a chopper
While most people would give anything for a ride with Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, an unsuspecting US hitchhiker who did not recognise the actor not only got to drive around with him but also fly around in a private chopper. The hiker, Scott Hildebrand, who is reportedly an American musician was hitchhiking for the very first time in his life in Brisbane when he met the actor, who was driving through the city with his personal trainer.
Chris, who was returning from the shoot of the Men In Black reboot in Italy, was on his way to Byron Bay, when he saw Scott standing on the road and decided to give him a ride. While his personal trainer Luke Zocchi was filming the interaction, they realised the musician was travelling to the bay too and decided to give him a ride in the chopper from the helipad they were heading to. Hildebrand revealed that while he did not know why they were filming him, he was okay with it but then asked and was told it’s Thor actor Chris Hemsworth, which totally surprised him.
During the journey, Chris joked with Scott telling him he would have to pay 4,000 AUD in fuel but later posted on his Instagram account. The caption read, “Picked up a hitchhiker, wasn’t a serial killer which we were stoked about and just happened to be a kick ass musician Scott Hildebrand” and even gave him a shout out on his account, easily making his day.
