Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone on Sunday announced that she would be getting married to boyfriend Ranveer Singh on November 14 - 15 later this year. Incidentally, the Padmaavat actor also appeared on the first episode of Koffee With Karan Season 6 with Alia Bhatt and it was only obvious that Ranbir Kapoor was spoken about so Karan Johar asked if Deepika gets awkward now that Alia is dating him and she had the aptest reply for him.
Deepika said there needs to be acceptance of the past, present and the future and she is not somebody who holds on to bad feelings and negativity. She went on to add that there should be an understanding of why certain things happen and why two people are not together and cannot be together. The Piku actress said the understanding of the people, the situation and the reality and letting go while accepting the reality is what is important. Karan even asked Deepika about how they manage to work with each other after their breakup and she simply said it only gets better because she couldn’t have asked for more. She went on to add that the relationship they share today is what she values the most and it couldn’t have been better for her.
While Deepika is currently on a break from films, which was rumoured to be because of her marriage, Ranveer Singh is quite busy. The Padmaavat actor is working on Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy and also Rohit Shetty’s Simmba and will soon be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor is busy working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra with Amitabh Bachchan and Alia Bhatt.
