Priyanka Chopra’s future father-in-law Paul Jonas files for bankruptcy after his company reports debt

The bankruptcy comes as a shock and also includes a 2,68,000 judgement that Paul Jonas’ company lost in a case against it.

Paul Jonas, the future father-in-law of Priyanka Chopra has on Saturday filed for bankruptcy after it was reported that his real estate firm is in debt of over one million dollars. The report states that Paul intends to pay off the debt by selling off some of the company’s property. 

The bankruptcy comes as a shock and also includes a 2,68,000 dollar judgement that Paul Jonas’ company lost in a case against it. The Jonas Brothers which included Nick Jonas, now Priyanka Chopra’s fiance, during the hit days have sold over millions of copies around the world of their songs including Lovebug and Look Me In The Eyes, among others. Nick Jonas is said to be worth 25 million dollars and is said to have made most of his money as a solo artist and also his recent budding acting career, starring in Jumanji in 2017. 

Earlier last month, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got engaged to each other in a ceremony in Mumbai on August 18. The couple had met at the Met Gala in 2017, and rumours were doing the rounds, however their relationship was only confirmed after the engagement. The couple dated each other for what is said to be a whirlwind romance of three months before they finally got engaged.
