U2 cancel concert, apologise after Bono loses voice mid-show in Berlin

Popular Irish band U2 cancelled their concert called eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour after lead singer Bono lost his voice after singing a few songs into the show. A video posted by a fan shows Bono singing and immediately interrupting to say that he will have to take a break as he does not know what happened and is really sorry but will have to stop the concert. 

According to various media reports, Bono in a hoarse voice said it is not right for the audience but he is sure it is not a big problem and will have to get it checked. He also went on to add that if people want to go home they can and U2 will play a show for them another time. However, the fans are said to be have been visibly disappointed and gave a not-so-energetic applause as they walked off. The band has on their official website said that Bono is taking medical advice and all of them do not know what happened because she was in form and singing well earlier, before the concert. 

U2 has also not confirmed if they will play their next show in Cologne, for the tour which started in North America, after they released their 14th album Songs of Experience. Bono is the frontman of the band being the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist ever since they formed in 1976.
