Post the success of his recent film Dhadak, actor Ishaan Khatter reportedly said he wants to recognise the right opportunities, in terms of choosing films. “The film brought a positive change in my life by bringing me together with some special people,” the 22-year-old, in an interview with a media organisation. “More people have seen my work and hopefully, that will have a positive effect on the opportunities I receive in the future,” he said, adding that he wants to challenge himself with his future roles. However, when asked about the ongoing nepotism debate, Ishaan said he was “neutral”.
Ishaan is actor Shahid Kapoor’s brother. His latest film, Dhadak, with Janhvi Kapoor, was an adaptation of Marathi hit Sairat, which was based on honour killing. He made his film debut with Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds.
