Even before they made it official, American singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra have caught the attention of both paparazzi and the internet alike. After his appearance at Jimmy Fallon’s show, Nick recently spoke to Jason Kennedy, the host of another American talk show, about his relationship with the Quantico star. “I can go on and get all mushy but the thing that really connected both of us is our love for family and faith and importance of being connected to those who are always going to be with you. And we found that in each other as well, which is a beautiful thing and I am excited to start our lives together,” said the 26-year-old, adding that the roka ceremony in Mumbai brought their families together.
Earlier, Nick shared his love story with Priyanka and said that the two met through a common friend and fell in love gradually. While he said the two “had a great time,” he also insisted they went only as friends. “People would ask us, ‘Are you guys seeing each other?’ And the answer was no. People thought we were being coy, and so did we, until we cut to, now we’re engaged. We then met up a couple of months ago, five months ago now, and it was kind of immediate. We just knew it was right and jumped right in,” he told Jimmy.
The couple is currently vacay-ing in Oklahoma with Joe Jonas, Kevin Covert, Michael Park, Cavanaugh James and others, leading a ranch life. Their adorable pictures has been doing rounds on social media. Apart from the pictures, even a video of Nick’s birthday celebration in California has gone viral. The video features Nick performing for his fans, while Priyanka and Joe joined him later on stage. Priyanka and Nick are later seen sharing their first public kiss as the entire stadium cheered them on.
