Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge is one of the most loved Bollywood films and ever fan remembers Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol for their roles in the movie, however, the latter says they can’t take credit for it. The 44-year-old actress at the promotion of her upcoming film Helicopter Eela said that neither of them can take the credit for the movie because it became famous all because of the audience.

Kajol said the phenomenon which was created around the film was because the audience appreciated it and took it to another level altogether. The actress went on to add that she knows people who have got married after the movie and are even passing it on to the next generation. So, it would be unfair for SRK, Aditya Chopra, Amrish Puri or her to say the movie became a blockbuster because of them. However, the Fanaa actress said that she couldn’t imagine the film being remade and added that when the film was made, they definitely did not know whether they had made a good film or bad, and just released it to the audience.

Kajol will be seen in Helicopter Eela, a film which is set to release on October 12, and is about a mother who constantly keeps tabs on her child, which is played by National-award winning actor Riddhi Sen. The film is based on a Gujarati play Beta Kaagdo by Anand Gandhi and has been directed by Pradeep Sarkar and co-produced by Ajay Devgn.
