Tanushree Dutta recently spoke about how Bollywood actor Nana Patekar assaulted her on the sets of 2008 film Horn Ok Please. While Nana reacted questioning her allegation, he said he does not have to say anything when there were over 200 people on set as witnesses. Priyanka Chopra showed her support to Tanushree by tweeting with the hashtag “#BelieveSurvivors” but Tanushree has reacted to the actor and slammed her for using the word.
According to reports, Tanushree said it is amazing that Priyanka Chopra has joined the bandwagon and it is a very smart thing to do at this point in time. However, Tanushree said she will not be reduced to a survivor and has a name and a story to tell with truth she is trying to get out to the people. She went on to add that is is for people in the future who will come forward to talk about such incidents. Tanushree said there will be many cases coming forward and she did not want to generalise the situation because there are people who are genuinely supporting her and she wants to focus on them.
Interestingly, the actor also slammed Twinkle Khanna who tweeted in support of the incident, asking her what is she doing about her husband Akshay Kumar working with Nana Patekar.
