Yami Gautam has been spotted at more events than one ever since the success of her last film, Uri. The film found support not just in India but also internationally. Yami who essays the role of an intelligence officer in the film is travelling and speaking to her fans and young people at various events about the film and her experience.
At the recently held Under 25 Summit in Bengaluru, she was invited as one of the keynote speaker to talk and inspire the youth of today. The actress spoke on a variety of things including the growing importance of digital media and social media in the lives of everyone today. "Today's generation has an additional pressure of social media. While it's a great boon, it also needs to be monitored. And I feel as much as you share, you should also learn to stay away from it when needed. With an increasing culture of trolls, once should remember to be a voice on the internet and not the noise," she said.
Yami also shared with the audience her ways to achieve success, playing by one's own rules. Right from her debut, the actor has made a mark on her own in the business and has found fame on her own merit.
