Days after the unfortunate Pulwama terror attack, the All India Cine Workers Association announced a blanket ban on all Pakistani actors and singers in India. The reported ban has now led Salman Khan to replace popular Pakistani singer Atif Aslam in an upcoming film Notebook, produced by him. While the replacement has not yet been announced, the team is looking for a new singer to fill his boots for the romantic drama.

Salman Khan reportedly asked his production house to re-record the song with a new singer, however, an official announcement by the Notebook team is yet to be released. Earlier, Salman had tweeted out his condolences after the attack on February 14; in his tweet, he said, “My heart goes out for the Jawans of our beloved country and their families who lost their lives as martyrs to save our families... #YouStandForIndia". The actor has immediately supported the ban, like many other Indians, in support of the ban.

Interestingly, just like Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain in LoveYatri, Salman will be launching two new actors with Notebook. Zaheer Iqbal makes his debut with former Bollywood actor Mohnish Bahl’s daughter Pranutan Bahl in the film directed by Nitin Kakkar and is set to release on March 29.
