Bollywood superstar Deepika Padukone is more than just the glamour she is known for, being at the forefront for talking about depression and more, she has turned out to be quite an influential figure for many. Recently, the Padmaavat actor received the Maharashtrian of the Year award, and she was asked if she would ever enter politics and she had the most unique response, which involved her childhood. 

Deepika revealed that while she does not have have in-depth knowledge about politics, if she did join, she would be the minister for Swachh Bharat. Interestingly, the story goes back to the time when she was a child, the actor said that her friends used to make her come over often. However, while she thought it was because they liked them and she was really popular, it was because she would clean and organise their bedrooms and wardrobes. Deepika also revealed that she is quite obsessed with cleanliness, and wants to clean every once in a while so that everything looks neat. 

On the film front, Deepika has got back to shooting for her upcoming films after a break for a year, as she was rumoured to be preparing for her wedding with Ranveer Singh. Working on Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapak, she will also make her debut as a producer for the film. It is based on the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal.
