The Indian cricket team’s performance in Australia speaks for itself after the 2-1 first away win in the country ever. For cricket followers, they also know that it was the performance of one man who stood out over any other, even Virat Kohli, and it was none other than Cheteshwar Pujara. Slamming three tons in four tests, to become the top scorer, which has earned him the name ‘White Walker’ in the team.

Interestingly, Virat in a recent interview said that Pujara has earned the nickname, which is also a character in the famous television series Game Of Thrones because the team has a theory. They believe that only fire or the special dagger can kill the batsmen but definitely not a cricket ball or any bowler. He went on to add that at the moment, Pujara was unbreakable and that is why they have given him the name.

Virat went on to add that the number 3 batsmen has never questioned the management’s call because he is very sure of his own ability. He has also taken every call of exclusion, in his stride because he knows he has to work on it after the feedback given to him and that is why he has come back stronger after being excluded from the Edgbaston test.
