Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have faced a lot of criticism ever since they appeared on Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan Season 6. While they were suspended from the Australia ODI series, they will also not play in the subsequent New Zealand series. However, more than KL Rahul, it is Hardik who has been bashed for his sexist comments on the show and the most recent to speak out is his rumoured girlfriend Elli AvRam.
In a recent interview, Elli said she was surprised when she heard what Hardik had spoken on the show because that is not the cricketer she personally knew, while they were reportedly dating each other. However, she is happy that people are reacting and putting their feet down against his behaviour. She went on to add that it is time people realise that this kind of behaviour is not cool and neither is it something to brag about. The model said from what she has heard, they are getting suspended, and when one represents the country it should not be taken lightly.
Elli AvRam, who shot to fame with Bigg Boss and Chamma Chamma, a remix of the popular song, said that it is a privilege to play for India and it is important to talk correctly because the next generation is actually watching and learning from their idols. Hardik and Elli were spotted together on several occasions in 2018, however, the cricketer recently told Karan Johar that he was not dating anybody.
