Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi has been surrounded by controversy from the time it was in production. However, after the release of the film, the problems still seem to haunt her. While last week it was the Karni Sena, this week co-director Krish, who walked out of the film in early 2018, in a recent interview criticised the actor for taking the first credit as director.

In a recent interview, Krish said Kangana does not deserve the credit at all and the fact that she has been given first credit as director is even more surprising and he wonders how she can even sleep at night. He went on to add that Kangana has only done 20-25 percent of the first half of the film  Krish said that he did not shoot one song and also her entry scene, and she has even gone on to shoot some scenes which he had done in a different way. However, he does not mind it as the film looks brilliant and he is happy she didn’t spoil it too much.

Interestingly, Krish said he was told that Zee Studios, the production house, did not like his cut and Kangana said they thought it looked like a Bhojpuri film. However, while they did argue about it, she wanted her way and she just couldn’t understand so he let her go ahead and do it. He also went on to reveal that because Kangana wanted to kill Sonu Sood’s character in the first half of the film, the two actors had a fallout. Earlier, Kangana had revealed that Sonu quit the film because he could not work with a woman director.
