Actor Tamannaah Bhatia has come out in support of Bollywood filmmaker Sajid Khan after he was accused of sexual misconduct by several persons during the #MeToo movement in 2018. While Sajid's sister Farah Khan had also earlier expressed displeasure about the incidents, she had said if proven guilty, necessary action should be taken against her brother. However, after Vidya Balan recently said she would never work with Sajid again, Tamannaah has responded saying she has never faced an issue with him, but that is only her opinion and it could differ.

Talking about her experience working with Sajid, Tamannaah said it has always been about the script and the kind of film she is working on but it has been unfortunate that none of her films with him did well. The Himmatwala actor added that the filmmaker never treated her in a bad way and she was completely comfortable while working with him. However, Tamannaah said everybody has had their own experiences and is entitled to their own opinion. She added that if Vidya had a bad experience, it is normal for her to act like that. The response comes after Vidya Balan had earlier said that Sajid does not understand women.

On the film front, Tamannaah is busy working on the Tamil remake of Kangana Ranaut’s Queen titled This is Mahalaxmi which is being directed by Prashanth Varma. The actor is also currently working on two other films - Devi 2 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which will release later this year.
