Mika Singh has now reportedly offered Savi Sidhu a role in his upcoming film called Aadat, and also a full-time job at his office.
week after a viral video of former Bollywood actor Savi Sidhu revealed that he has to work as a security guard to earn money because he was low on finances, singer Mika Singh has reached out to him. Savi, in the video interview, said he does not even have money to buy bus tickets and his plight was soon shared by Rajkummar Rao and Anurag Kashyap.
Mika Singh has now reportedly offered Savi Sidhu a role in his upcoming film called Aadat, and also a full-time job at his office. The film has been directed by Bhushan Patel and has real-life couple Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. According to several reports, Mika wanted to help Savi as he is also from the Punjabi community, and the singer had also heard he was a good actor so he wanted to give him any role that could help him leave the watchman job. Interestingly, even though the film is seven days away from completion, Mika has told the makers to write a new role for him to be included in the film.
In an interview, Savi confirmed that he had received a call from Mika and also from director Nikkhil Advani for work in his movies. Savi said when Mika initially called him he thought it was a prank but then the singer told him that he will not do the job anymore. He also sent a car for him and gave him new clothes and food. Now, Savi is set to work with Mika in 10 days and the singer has also recommended him for other roles and will also try to get him a job as an acting coach.
Earlier, Rajkummar Rao had tweeted about the story saying, “Very inspired by your story Savi Sidhu Sir. Have always admired your work in all your films. Love your positivity. Perseverance is the key to overcoming obstacles," and even said he would ask his casting friends to help the former actor. Savi has appeared in films like Black Friday and Patiala House among others.
