She’s bold, hot, sensual and is known for being vocal about her views and opinions. The 50-year-old American-Mexican actress, Salma Hayek, who was last seen in Ken Marino’s How To Be A Latin Lover, will be seen as Sonia Kincaid in Patrick Hughes’ action comedy movie, The Hitman’s Bodyguard.

On Darius Kincaid and Sonia Kincaid’s relationship
They’re madly in love with each other. They’ve been together for a long time and this is that one type of marriage where the passion never goes away. She keeps him on his toes and she’s probably the only person who can do that. Towards the end, there is a little bit of love story packed with amazing action scenes and lots of laughs.
What is moving the action, is the love story. This man is ready to do anything for his lady, even though she doesn’t make things easier for him.
On Sonia Kincaid meeting Darius Kincaid for the first time
When I meet my onscreen husband for the first time, I’m in a situation where I have to defend myself. However, I’m sure that later on, she was wondering, “How come he never tried to help her?”
I don’t know that he is there because I didn’t notice him. But, I manage to impress him as I defend myself in a bar fight, with many men. This is how I find the greatest love of my life.
On the film’s sophisticated action
The whole movie has one action scene after the other. I watch a lot of action films because my husband loves watching it repeatedly.
It’s kind of sophisticated and cool. They visit different places in Europe and it is impossible to get your eyes and ears off this pair. Samuel Jackson and Ryan Reynolds are the two actors who can pull-off an action-comedy really well.Their chemistry is fantastic
On her character’s dirty mouth and warm heart
I knew my character had to say a lot of unparliamentary words. I’ve never said so many bad words in such a short span of time. It was easy as Samuel also has a dirty mouth in the film and that was fun.
Sonia is very warm at heart, but at the same time, she had to be a force to reckon with.
On the film’s atypical romances
It’s not the typical love story that you see in action movies. The film is packed with fights scenes. However, there are a few romantic sequences which makes it different from the usual action drama.
