Directed by Bumpy, Bank Chor, is an upcoming Bollywood film produced by Asish Patil under the banner of Yash Raj Film. It tells the story of three morons trying to rob a bank who pick a worst day when everything could go wrong.
The trailer that came out last week made everyone laugh and trended #1 on YouTube for about three days. It is said to have crossed 10 million across the Y-Films social media platforms within a week.
Now, the title song of Bank Chor, titled Hum Hain Bank Chor, is certainly the worst Bollywood item song ever! The song features the incompetent trio, Champak (Riteish Deshmukh), Genda (Vikram Thapa) and Gulaab (Bhuvan Arora). The song also features Rhea Chakraborthy, playing the role of a reporter, named Gayatri Ganguly in the movie.
Riteish Deshmukh calls the song hilarious as he says, "the three idiot chors believe that they're actually smarter than everybody else." Composer-lyricist-singer Kailash Kher casually said,"After creating history with iconic songs like Teri Deewani, Saiyaan, and Allah ke Banday, I'm all set to destroy that with Banday Hai Hum Bank Chor..." He also adds that this was really special, showcasing mad, naughty and fun side of him.
The movie is all set to embarrass its makers when it releases in theatres on June 16.
