Salman Khan gets bail from Jodhpur court in 1998 Blackbuck poaching case, two days after being convicted  

The actor had been accused of killing two Blackbucks in Jodhpur's Kankani village while he was in Rajasthan.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been granted bail on Saturday by the Jodhpur court, two days after he was convicted. The bail has been granted bail against a Rs 1 lakh bond and is expected to be released by Saturday evening. 

The actor was given a five-year jail term in the 1998 Blackbuck case that occured while he was shooting for 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in Jodhpur. 

He has been accused of killing two Blackbucks in Jodhpur's Kankani village while he was in Rajasthan. The other actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, who were also involved in the case, were acquitted on Thursday. 

The actor spent two nights in the Jodhpur Central Jail after his sentence. The actor arrived on Thursday from Abu Dhabi, where he was shooting for the movie 'Race 3'.
