Aamir Khan's Thugs of Hindostan will not be his first film to be digitally remastered in IMAX format. His Dhoom 3 was the first Indian film to do so. Produced at an estimated budget of Rs 210 crore, the movie is produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films.
It is the fifth film in India to be remarked in this format. Making a video announcement through IMAX's official Twitter handle Aamir said that it is a great pleasure to announce that his new film Thugs of Hindostan a huge action adventure film shot on a very large scale ideal for IMAX. He also said that he is looking forward to everyone across the world watching Thugs of Hindostan.
YRF Vice President Akshaye Widhwani in a statement said Thugs Of Hindostan will see the widest ever IMAX screen release for an Indian movie.
Thugs of Hindostan stars Aamir in the lead role. It also has Fatima Sana Shaikh, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan in important roles.
