The casting director who has given the industry new faces, gives newcomer Sanjana Sanghi, a break in his debut directorial venture
Casting director and filmmaker Mukesh Chhabra has once again proven why he is the most dependable man in Bollywood. This year so far, Mukesh has given the industry some very talented actors who will be seen in upcoming films.
From Sanya Malhotra, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Zaira Wasim for the Aamir Khan-starrer blockbuster Dangal to Sobhita Dhulipala in Anurag Kashyap’s Raman Raghav 2.0, Mukesh is credited with discovering fantastic talent. In fact, the next actor who was spotted by Mukesh, Radhika Madan, will be seen in the upcoming film Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota (set to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival). Among others, Kritika Kamra who is the lead in Mitron, Mrunal Thakur who has been cast opposite Hrithik Roshan in Super 30 and Tripti Dimri the lead in Laila Majnu were all given a break by Mukesh.
In fact, even for his untitled debut directorial venutre, which is a Hindi remake of the Hollywood film The Fault in Our Stars, Mukesh has cast newcomer Sanjana Sanghi opposite Sushat Singh Rajput.
