Power Rangers reboot by director Jonathan Entwistle to include time travel

The End of the F***cking World creator Jonathan Entwistle is currently in negotiations with Paramount Pictures to helm a reboot of the popular Power Rangers franchise. 

According to reports, Entwistle is still in early negotiations and the movie hopes to involve elements of time travel in the Back to Future fashion. Patrick Burleigh, who wrote the upcoming Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, is believed to be working on the script.

Entwistle is currently working on the post-production of I’m Not Okay With This, another Netflix show he co-created.  

One of the longest-running franchise’s in history, Power Rangers were created by Haim Saban in 1993. In addition to a number of Tv show, the rangers have been featured n video games, movies and various other media over the years. The franchise was adapted into a film, titled Saban's Power Rangers, in 2017, but following its lack of success at the box office, all potential sequels were scrapped.
