The first look poster of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic starring Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi was released recently and to a mixed reaction. While some found the casting ideal, many trolled Vivek Oberoi for taking up the role.
For many, the announcement of this movie came as a surprise because back in 2017, veteran actor Paresh Rawal had announced his upcoming project on Prime Minister Narendra Modi that was set to go on floors soon. He had said, "We are just locking the script and hopefully it will finish soon, and we will begin to shoot it in September or October (2018)."
According to recent reports, Rawal said to a publication, "I still maintain that nobody can play Modi other than me. I can do complete justice to the role. However, it’s a free country and even Vivek can play that role. I wish him luck.'
He went on to add, “What I can do with that film, nobody else can. Let anybody do what they want to, we are also coming out soon,” he added.
Titled PM Narendra Modi, Oberoi's film will go on floors later this month.
