Finally putting an end to the long wait, the makers of Jabariya Jodi today dropped the trailer of the film that features Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. And, from the first look of it, the film seems to be a fun ride throughout!
The film revolves around groom kidnapping, a concept that prevails in Bihar.
While Sidharth seems to be the guy who helps people get married and also pulls up those who take dowry, Parineeti is somebody who believes in tackling things herself, including her marriage. And, when things fall apart between her and Sidharth, she decided to do 'jabariya shadi'.
Sharing the trailer on Twitter, Balaji Motion Pictures wrote, "Beware bachelors! You can be their next shikaar. Aagayi hai Jabariya Jodi!"
Interestingly, the duo is coming back together after five years. They were last seen in Hasee Toh Phasee (2014) and were loved for their chemistry.
The film also features Aparshakti Khurana, Javed Jaffrey and Sanjai Mishra in prominent roles and is scheduled for release on August 2 this year.
