Do you believe that including Hulk in the trailers of Infinity War is Marvel’s biggest achievement in fooling its fans? Think again.

When Marvel officially took the lid off the title of the upcoming Avengers movie, it actually wasn’t the first time that the word, Endgame, had appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

In fact, both Robert Downey Jr and Benedict Cumberbatch had mentioned this word in separate dialogues in Age of Ultron and Infinity War, respectively, much before Marvel revealed that Endgame would be the name of the April blockbuster in the first poster release in December last year.

See below:

Avengers: Age of Ultron - At 0:40

This was a crucial moment in the movie when the first cracks in the group started to surface, stemming from the perennial conflict in ideology between Tony Stark and Steve Rogers. Moments after Ultron freed itself from Stark Tower’s firewalls, and the Avengers were starting to realise the gravity of the situation, Tony admits to having a hand in it because of his AI-related experiments with Ultron.

Avengers: Infinity War - At 3: 56

In his final fight before his return to Earth for the Mind Stone, Thanos convinces Doctor Strange to handover the Time Stone to him. Looks like, Strange knows something that we don’t.
