X Men Day tribute celebrates 20 years of the movie franchise

With Sophie Turner’s Dark Phoenix releasing on June 7, May 13 has been declared as the X-Men day by 20th Century Fox. This movie marks the culmination of 20 years of the X-Men movie franchise. Marking the anniversary, 20th Century Fox released a video featuring Partick Stewert, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner and James McAvoy, who play the lead roles in the franchise. In this video, the actors talk about their experience so far.

Hugh Jackman who played Wolverine says, “When the first movie of the X-Men was released, nobody saw it coming”

Michael Fassbender, the actor who plays Magneto also adds, “It was like the world was going to see something very different and the whole cast elevated the material.”

 

Patrick Stewart, the actor who plays Professor X said that he hopes that the history of the franchise will be legacy with the feeling that they justified those characters.

James McAvoy who plays the younger version of Professor X adds,” The thing that makes X-Men different from the other superhero movies is that all the characters are emotionally connected with their relationships.”

The actress Sophie Turner says, “It is very exciting to be a part of something that people admired for generations.” With Dark Phoenix hitting the screens next month, the actress is all pumped up for her next big release.
