Fitness talks, fashion and beer dominated my week! First up was the Oktoberfest hosted by ITC Kakatiya on Friday. The city’s socialites enjoyed classics like Pretty Women, and I Will Survive by city-based duo Jason and Cherry, followed by a fun round of beer pong before calling it a night. Next up was an interesting talk, To See or Not To See, by scholar Ana Lamata. Organised by The Park New Festival 2018, the PhD holder in Contemporary Art History spoke about the discovery of X-Rays and how it changed the world of science, followed by a panel discussion.

Meanwhile, actor Shabana Azmi and lyricist Javed Akhtar were in the city with their play, Kaifi Aur Main at the Qadir Ali Baig Theatre Festival. Held at Trident Hyderabad, the hall was reverberating with applause. On the other end, fashionistas headed to the launch of lifestyle and fashion exhibition, Jhalak, at Taj Krishna. Model Krutika Singh Rathore inaugurated the event along with other models from the city. More than 90 top designers from across the country showcased their collections.

After the clothing shopping spree, we moved on to jewellery shopping at the exclusive preview of city-based designer Dipthi Ganesh’s new collection, in collaboration with Karna Johar’s jewellery line Tyaani in Jubilee Hills, on Sunday. The event was attended by actress Yamini Bhaskar, along with many socialites, who were busy trying on polki jewellery sets.

Comic geeks spent their Sunday at Nirvana Bistro, learning the art of cosplay at a workshop conducted by Comic Con India. Indonesia Comic Con Winner 2018, Jeet Molankar, hosted the event.

It’s well said that all good things come to an end, and so does my stint with Indulge Hyderabad. It was a wonderful experience writing about the city’s happening parties and events for the lifestyle magazine. While I will certainly miss my readers, I would like to say goodbye and good luck!
