Here's a speedy recap of all the hot happenings in Chennai from this past week

Our timelines were flooded these past couple of weeks, with pictures of beautiful prints and stunning statement necklaces. Us ladies were drooling and our collective curiosity was piqued. All this gorgeousness was in the lead up to the Outhouse x Shivan and Narresh edit, courtesy The Armoire Pop Up. Nandini Varshnei as always, curated the entire showcase to perfection, and fans of the designers loved the set up at The Folly at Amethyst. From easy breezy resort wear pieces to chunky jewellery, we had a tough time picking favourites.

We continued our shopping at the launch of the Mesmereyes Makeup Studio by Akriti Sachdev. Along with taking a look around the new space in Nungambakkam, guests got to shop her range of exclusive make-up products (that were selling like hot cakes). We gleaned valuable tips from the make-up maven herself, over mimomas and bite-sized nibbles.

Across town more beautification was underway at the new Vurve Signature Salon on ECR, where Balmain Hair Couture was launched with celebrity hairstylist Yianni Tsapatori.

And speaking of celebrities Chennai was also paid a visit by Nikhil Chinapa at Radisson Blu’s Brasa. The crowd was the usual mix of party regulars, PYTs and long-time Chinapa fans.
