Commonwealth Games medallists Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap had a lavish reception at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre. Sports stars, politicians and several celebrities were seen attending this glittering soirée and partaking in the grand celebrations. Amongst some of the prominent personalities who attended the wedding reception were South star Nagarjuna with wife Amala, Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh, Indian politician and MLA, K.T. Rama Rao, badminton star Jwala Gutta, Olympian Srikanth Kidambi, wrestler Sangram U Singh and more.
It was a sight to behold as the bride and groom walked hand-in-hand to the reception hall and gracefully posed for the media. The entire venue was lit up with bright colours, further brightened by the laughter and cheerfulness of the couple’s family and friends. The decor was classic with elegant chandeliers and white flowers complementing the blue drapes. The theme for the wedding also seemed to be coordinated with the bride and grooms synchronized attires. While Saina was a picture of beauty in a rich indigo velvet lehenga, Kashyap looked elegant in a quilted indigo sherwani in hand-dyed Murshidabad silk accessorised with hand-crafted Bengal tiger buttons. The couple looked much-in-love, during the cake-cutting ceremony.

The couple chose the city of Nizams as the wedding destination in unison, and Parupalli Kashyap, the groom said “Hyderabad has always occupied a special place in both of our hearts. The blessings we have received here are beyond words. And today seems to be simply extraordinary. We’d like to thank everyone who has reached out to us with their love.”
