Ahead of the NBA India Games 2019, India got its first-ever floating basketball court in Mumbai. Weighing about 200 tonnes, the court has been dropped right next to the Bandra Worli Sea-link.
The making of the court involved a month of planning and took almost a week and over 200 people to set it up. To keep it afloat, the barge of the court has been tugged by two boats and anchored in the seabed.
