Narcos, created by Christopher Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro, is an American crime-drama series that follows the rise of powerful drug cartels in 1980s Columbia. The show has been a big hit since its start in 2015 and was nominated for Best Drama Television Series at last year's Golden Globes.

The series' co-creator Christopher Brancato has been invited by Roy Kapur Films to teach a masterclass on the creative development of writing an original series. He will be joined by Carole Kirschner, who is an entertainment career coach and the Director of the Writers Guild of America showrunner training program.

Set to begin on December 4th, the event is a part of Jio's initiative to broaden their creative content for their Jio Originals platform expected to launch next year. Participants are to include a select group of writers, showrunners and producers.
