Disney gowns that will help Meghan sparkle
The wedding invitations are out! It’s actually happening. Yes, Meghan Markle will be marrying her own Prince Charming on 19th May.
We can imagine how busy things must be at Kensington Palace, planning everything from flowers, food, cakes and of course, one of the most important things, the wedding dress! Since Meghan Markle is living an actual fairytale, who better to take inspiration from for the wedding dress designs than our favourite Disney princesses! There’s no question they simply ace the gown game, so why not have a look at gowns that we think Meghan’s dress could be inspired from.
As Elsa transforms from a meek and guarded woman to a powerful and confident ice princess, so does her wardrobe. We think the breathtakingly svelte, twinkling icy yet elegant gown could be a perfect inspiration for Meghan Markle’s gown.
Beauty and the Beast
Who can forget the iconic gown in the Beauty and the Beast. Especially when the gorgeous Emma Watson donned it in live action feature, it took our breath away. The beautiful gown with its graceful, old-school charm would be a perfect style for her big day. Watch Emma Watson in her magical dress as Beauty and the Beast makes it first Indian Television Premiere on Star Movies on 24th March at 1 pm and 9 pm.
The famous blue dress worn by Cinderella was recreated for the live action feature and it said that it took 240 yards of fabric, 10,000 Swarovski crystals and 4 miles of thread and 3 miles of hem. We think our soon-to-be Princess deserves no less. The dress is a dream come true just like their story.
Princess and the Frog
It is a no-nonsense dress just like the character of the strong-willed and hardworking Tiana in the movie, The Princess and the Frog, the blue dress is graceful yet doesn’t have to have a lot of hullabaloo just what Meghan Markle’s style seems to be, even among the royal family.
If there’s anyone who can go over the top with gowns and still get away with it, it has to be the royals. We think Markle can totally pull off a wedding gown with a dramatically full skirt similar to the one from the movie, Enchanted (without the ruffles of course). She would look ever so graceful in this slightly vintage design.
