Amitabh Bachchan’s popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati is back for Season 10 and like every other, this time around too, it is turning out to be as exciting as ever. However, Sony has released the first video of the season and it looks like one contestant has already become the first to win Rs 1 crore.
According to the video, Assam’s Binita Jain is the first contestant to cross the crore mark and answering a question to win the maximum prize money of Rs 7 crore. Binita’s husband, an engineer, was reportedly kidnapped by terrorists over 12 years ago. Amitabh, in his signature, suspense tone, tells Binita to think carefully before she answers the last and final question, which could make her win the big prize money. The previous episodes have seen two contestants win Rs 25 lakh each - while one was Somesh Kumar Choudhary, a ticket collector from Bhagalpur, the other was Sandip Sawaliya, a graphic designer from Gujarat.
Unfortunately, Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 9 did not see anybody win the jackpot of Rs 7 crore. However, Anamika Majumdar, a social worker from Jharkhand successfully won Rs 1 crore.
