Co-organised by the Indo Cine Appreciation Forum, Goethe-Institut will host a screening of Cherry Blossoms (Kirschblüten – Hanami), a 2008 German drama directed by Doris Dörrie. Starring Elmar Wepper, Hannelore Elsner and Aya Irizuki, the film tells the story of a terminally ill man, who travels to Japan after the sudden death of his wife Trudi, in order to make up for missed opportunities in life.
