Written and directed by Arpita Ghosh, the Academy of Fine Arts is going to stage a play on the life of Jibanananda Das, called Karubasana, which is based on an autobiographical book written by the poet in 1932 and published posthumously in 1986. The play centres around the life of Hem, whose love for art takes him away from his family and its responsibilities.
